Summary: ASI Doors is seeking a highly organized Maintenance/Manufacturing Support person to take ownership of our maintenance department. This position is responsible for the safe, accurate, efficient, and timely processing of work in the respective work centers and departments. This position will also need to identify and drive process improvements as well as their implementation and standardization within their department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
• Maintenance repair on machinery, fork truck, small tools, air compressor and dryers, foaming machine, molding equipment, lighting, heating and cooling system, and on call when repairs or problems occur.
• Responsible for preventative maintenance program.
• Responsible for completing and tracking various safety inspections and repairs.
• Serves on the Safety Committee as a key member.
• Organization of all show doors to include making stands, performing set up and tear down at show site as required, coordination of trucking, riggers and carpenters.
• Management of Hazardous Waste.
• Assist with coordination of various compliance and regulatory programs.
• Assist in office personnel requests.
• Coordination of company meetings by performing set up and refreshment organization.
• Coordination of safety program for fire extinguishers, exit lights and sprinkler system.
• Responsible for basic outside grounds keeping.
• Perform work with engineers on new prototype doors, manufacture parts for new designs and assist in the design of new products, templates, tools, and fixtures.
• Responsible for security of building including on call duties with security company.
• Assist in Manufacturing as required including but not limited to assembly, machining, and/or welding.
• Assist with development and implementation of a Maintenance Electronic Record System to track preventative and recurring maintenance activities, to include keeping the information up to date and accurate.

Computer Skills: To perform this job, knowledge of MS Office software including Excel and Outlook is beneficial. Experience with maintenance software tracking systems, including logging, tracking, and overall management.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Forklift and Scissors lift experience required, OSHA training is preferred.
Other Qualifications: Maintain confidentiality.
Education and/or Experience: Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school is desired; at least five years Maintenance and Machine Repair experience is required. Basic MIG Welding skills, basic plumbing, and basic electrical skills are required.
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information to co-workers and management.
Mathematical Skills: Requires the use of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of decimals and fractions; work from drawings, specification and formulas involving limited detail, use and interpret adjustable measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers and scales. Ability to interpret graphs.
Other Skills and Abilities: Working experience with power and hand tools a must; read and interpret blueprints and assembly drawings; Use tape measure and electrical testing devices.
