We are both happy and sad to announce that after 43+ years with ASI Doors Frank LaVora, Director of Manufacturing, will retire on Friday, January 8th, 2021. Throughout the years Frank has grown with ASI Doors starting out in the plant working in our molding area moving up to finishing, then plant supervisor, and eventually leading operations as the director of manufacturing.
Frank is one of those rare people you meet in life that is respected by all. His work ethic is second to none with non-stop energy from before most of us get out of bed too late in the day. We often talk about the need to put our customers first and Frank lives this philosophy. He has always been willing to help a coworker or a customer out of a jam. Somehow, in the middle of all this work, Frank always found time to bring humor into the most stressful situations and put people at ease. He is someone that we are proud to work with and call a friend. He will be deeply missed, but his legacy is woven into the fabric of ASI and we are a better team for it.
Frank has stated the best part of working with ASI Doors has been the people and friendships he has made over the years, both with employees as well as customers and vendors.
In his next chapter, Frank looks forward to completing projects around the house, woodworking, camping, and traveling. We hope he is blessed with many wonderful experiences and wishes him the best in all his future plans.
