Milwaukee, Wi – ASI Doors, Inc. announces the results of an airborne particulate count test which classifies the company’s Cleanseal cleanroom door system suitable for clean environment applications as low as Class 1 (ISO 3).
The results, from an independent testing lab, reported that “with zero background level, the [particle] counts were all significantly below Class 10, and virtually Class 1 for all particle sizes per Federal Standard 209E”. (Class 1 is the maximum obtainable class rating.)
“These tests validated our objective to produce a cleanroom door that is both durable enough to stand-up to the daily rigors of everyday usage and will maintain controlled conditions in even the most stringent laboratory and cleanroom environments”, states Randy Mathis, VP Business Development, Cleanseal.
Cleanseal door systems feature a unique durable lightweight fiberglass door panel with stainless steel header and truck assembly, side frames, and top shroud for low maintenance and easy washdown capability. A full-perimeter, non-marking, blade type gasket provides adjustment for either tight or loose sealing requirements, under positive or negative pressures. Power doors utilize a rugged electric motor and gearbox controlled by a variable frequency drive, tested to over two million cycles.
Headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, ASI Doors designs and manufactures a full range of high speed, high performance door systems for commercial, security, industrial, pharmaceutical / bio-tech and cold storage applications.
